Activities

Mountain Biking

Many guests hop on the choice of four mountain bikes to cruise less than a mile to downtown Westcliffe – or to explore county gravel roads and BLM double tracks to abandoned silver mines north of town.

Hiking and Fishing

Nearly every westbound road off CO 69 leads to a trailhead. They lead to the 100-mile-long Rainbow Trail, and wilderness trails to waterfalls, high mountain lakes and a dozen fourteener peaks. Lake DeWeese Reservoir and Grape Creek below its dam are popular and delightful for boating, fishing and scenic views.
