Renovated Cabin with Panoramic Views

Families seeking peace, quiet and escape from social media and electronic entertainment LOVE this tongue-and-groove log cabin. Kids and dogs can roam free on 8 acres. Mule deer gather in the shady spots around the cabin.

We have a two-night minimum but recommend at least three nights, so your mind can calm enough to really hear the quiet and wildlife. We chose this as a DarkSkies.Vacations cabin because of its stunning view of clouds, pine forests, rolling plains and wildlife - with Sangre de Cristos providing an eye-popping backdrop. Even the most active outdoor enthusiasts have a hard time leaving the deck and its million-dollar view, as brilliant sunsets slowly yield to bright stars. Seeing the Milky Way stretch over the Sangre de Cristos can spark spiritual experiences your family won’t forget.

Your family or group can spread out in this two-story cabin. Upstairs, find a master bedroom with a queen bed, as well as a large play/sleeping room with two trundle beds (4 singles) plus two futons, just in case. The full bathroom has an amazing view of the southern Sangres. The main floor has a bedroom with a queen bed and a three-quarter bath. You’ll find the kitchen very well equipped and provisioned. It flows into a great room for dining and lounging, surrounded in glass, affording expansive views of the mountains.
